ALMOND EVERYTHING BUTTER HUMMUS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Hummus base

  • 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 3/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup Fix & Fogg Almond Everything Butter
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Garnish

On the side

  • Cucumber
  • Carrot
  • Vege chips
  • Pita bread

METHOD

  1. Place the chickpeas, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander and chilli powder in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Scrape down the sides of the blender when needed. Add 1 tbsp of water until desired consistency is reached if needed. Remove hummus from the blender and place it into a mixing bowl.Ā Fold through 1/2 cup of Fix & Fogg Almond Everything Butter until evenly distributed. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture into serving dish.
  3. Make a shallow well and dollop 1/4 cup Fix & Fogg Almond Everything Butter in the centre. Serve with veges and crackers of your choice!
